The installed solution

A 4-tier ELID enterprise security system consisting of:-

1. MIFARE Smart Card Access Control system
2. Real time Fire Door monitoring system
3. High speed Turnstile control with automated card collector upon exit
4. Touch screen fully self- service visitor card issuance kiosk with passport scanner ( 1^st of its kind in Malaysia )
5. State-of-the-art card control destination selection lift system

System was commissioned in July 2014.

A 36 storey building of 170 meters high with 46000 sq meters of office space. Completed in Dec 1994 and formerly known as Menara Kewalram, it is now the head quarter of Public Bank Berhad, the third largest banking group in Malaysia by asset size with total assets of RM305.73 billion as at the end of 2013 and is ranked second among all the public listed companies on Bursa Malaysia Securities in terms of market capitalisation.

The installed solution

A nationwide networked enterprise security system consisting of:-

1. HID Proximity Card Access Control System
2. Capacitive Fingerprint Biometric Control at high security checkpoint
3. Real Time Fire Door monitoring system
4. Centralized monitoring control of all 14 sites of NOC’s nationwide through Wide Are Network (WAN) deployment

System was commissioned in 2005.

The installed project is located on an 138-hectare site in Sungai Choh, Rawang, Selangor. It houses among others Perodua corporate building, R&D testing laboratories and styling studio, vehicle test track, manufacturing plant, engine plant, pre-delivery inspection area, vehicle distribution stockyard and parts warehouse.

The plant to which is Malaysia’s second largest automobile manufacturer after Proton houses a 4000 workforce requires a highly reliable biometric time attendance system and a proven secured security system in safeguarding its highly sensitive R&D development work of strict discipline Japanese work  culture.

The installed solution consist of :-

1. Enterprise security access control system securing more than 60 security access doors
2. Capacitive Fingerprint system for Time Attendance Reporting. The previous system of oversea origin was replaced with ELID system in addressing lost/missing transactions.
3. Real Time Fire door monitoring system.
4. The highly successful and robust system of T&A was extended to other Perodua offices nationwide.

System was commissioned in 2007 and expansion work is still on-going.

The Express Rail Link is  Malaysia’s  electrified airport rail link that  connects the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and the new KLIA2 airport with the Kuala Lumpur Sentral (KL Sentral) transportation hub, 57 kilometres apart.

The solution installed:-

1. ELID Matrix V system was retrofitted in replacing the existing system. The challenge was to meet the same stringent operational specifications of the earlier system whilst retaining the use of the current wiring architecture.
2. The system was to secure all highly sensitive door entrances and control turnstile access to all 7 stations including the new KLIA2 station.
3. A customized web based Time Attendance software was installed to meet its highly flexible and robust work scheduling system.
